Intro to Yoga - Beginner's Workshop
Taking your first yoga class can be super intimidating, I know. I've been there.
Your anxiety about trying something new peaks and you feel overwhelmed and just decide you'll try it another day...
The day has come, my people. ♥
If this isn't a clear message for you to finally put those fears behind you and come give it a shot, I don't know what is.
This class is built for the first-timers.
For those people who have been hearing a tiny whisper about "maybe giving that yoga thing a shot."
In this class/workshop, we will first cover what exactly yoga is.
It's not all about turning your body into a human pretzel, I promise.
Going through a flow of poses, called a vinyasa, is only one part of this amazing practice..and practice it is.
We'll cover a few of the foundation poses such as mountain, down dog and child's pose...and their lasting benefits.
After being welcomed into the practice, we will then do a short-guided meditation with a super basic vinyasa just so you can get the feel for what a class is like!
Baby steps, people! I gotchu!
